The adventure world of wine is a very small boat on the wide sea of wine sales. However, we are also a little bit “unusual”!
Unusual, for example, because we specialize in wines from the Middle East region – and especially in wineries with a Christian background. Also unusual because we don’t have a classic “online shop” with “add to shopping cart” and “checkout”; we are too convinced that wine is far too precious a good to be treated like that. Perhaps also unusual because you can get advice by phone before placing an order and you can also personally query all the information and background information available to us. The fact that you are not only offered “goods” on our website, but also very, very much background information about the wineries, their countries and their history, but also the latest news from the sometimes not easy region of the, may also contribute to the unusual Middle East.
We know each of the wineries we represent personally and have tasted each wine ourselves before we went shopping. That is why we stand up for all of our wines. Of course, not every wine is a high quality wine – but there are quite a few in our range. There is a personal, friendly relationship with all oenologists in the cellars and the agronomists in the vineyard, which helps us to be able to make a request here and there.
Our service for our customers also includes the regular dispatch of a circular in which not only the respective “Wine of the Month” is presented, but also the latest information from the wineries, the countries of the Middle East and the situation of Christians in the Region, or the latest news from the areas of Christianity, Judaism and Islam.
Another service element is our delivery service, which you can use if you want to give presents to loved ones, friends and relatives or business partners. You order and we will send it directly to the recipient – the invoice will be sent to you. More about it here .
Not always, but from time to time, we also offer bottles without a front label so that you can attach your own label and give the wine away as a gift. (For legal reasons, back labels may not be changed or pasted over.)
Now it is up to you whether you want to get involved with our wines and our way. Take your time and look through our pages. You will find wines made from international vines, but also from indigenous Middle Eastern vines. Wines whose vines you are familiar with and those of which you may be reading for the first time.
In any case, we look forward to hearing or reading from you.
With best wishes and greetings and the greeting of the Arab Christians “Allah maak!” (God with you)
